I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No.153 of the 24th of June last, forwarding a copy of a Report by the Medical Officer of Health upon the sanitary condition of Hong Kong, together with a Minute by the Principal Civil Medical Officer upon the subject: and of your despatch No.197 of the 21st July last relative to the constitution of the Sanitary Board.
